Dr. Ramandeep Kaur Sidhu, BDS, MSc, DDS
Dr. Ramandeep Kaur Sidhu received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from University of Alberta (UofA). After DDS, Dr. Sidhu worked in Kelowna, BC before deciding to move to Fort St. John with her husband.
Prior to going to dental school at UofA, Dr. Sidhu received her Masters in Community Health Science degree from University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), Prince George. Further, her education in the dentistry also includes, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from India as well as one-year internship at dental hospital. After graduating with BDS, Dr. Sidhu worked for some time in India as a General Dentist and then moved to Canada to pursue higher education.
Dr. Sidhu is known for her exceptional dentistry skills and ability to meet her patients’ dental needs by comprehensive dentistry approach. She is always being appreciated for being meticulous, caring, gentle and empathetic. She is compassionate and goes above and beyond to alleviate her patient’s dental anxiety.
Dr. Sidhu believes in patient education and makes sure patients are well informed about their oral health as well as best treatment options. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry with special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Sidhu loves to work with patients of all ages including children and elders. Besides English she is also fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.
Dr. Sidhu is an avid reader and keeps herself abreast of the latest advancement in the field of medicine and dentistry. She has published several research articles in international peer reviewing journals including numerous entries in Canadian Dental Association (CDA) Oasis discussions (E-journal). She has also participated in continuing dental education programs in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including Implantology. Dr. Sidhu is a member of Canadian Dental Association, College of Dental Surgeons of BC, BC Dental Association, Punjab Dental council and Indian Dental Association.
Dr. Sidhu treats her patients as family and ensures they receive optimal dental treatment with upmost care and attention.
